ORDINANCE 1818 <br />ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING <br />ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 2 RELATING TO THE CUSTODY <br />OF CLOSED SESSION TAPED MINUTES <br />THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES HEREBY <br />ORDAIN: <br />SECTION I <br />Section 2 -3.2 of Article I of Chapter 2 of the Town Code is hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br />Section 2 -3.2. Minutes of closed sessions. <br />When the Town Council holds a closed session, it shall designate the Town <br />Manager, the Assistant Town Manager, the Acting Town Manager, or any other <br />qualified employee of the Town to tape record the session, as provided in <br />Government Code Section 54957.2. The tapes shall be retained by the Town <br />Attorney as confidential records, as also provided in Section 54957.2. Any record <br />of discussion of the appointment, employment, evaluation of performance or <br />dismissal of the Town Attorney shall be retained by the Town Manager as a <br />confidential record, as provided in Government Code Section 54957.2. <br />SECTION II <br />This ordinance takes effect 30 days after it is adopted. Within 15 days after this <br />ordinance is adopted the Town Clerk shall cause it to be published once in a newspaper <br />of general circulation published and circulated in the Town. <br />
