ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING SECTION 20.20.015 OF THE TOWN CODE
SETTING THE COMPOSITION, APPOINTMENT, AND TERMS OF OFFICE
FOR MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
SECTION I
Sec. 20.20.015. Composition, appointment, terms.
The Planning Commission shall consist of nine (9) voting members, whose terms of
office shall be four (4) years and until their successors are appointed. The members shall
be appointed by the Town Council. The terms of office of the respective members shall be
staggered and overlapped in such a manner that the terms of not less than two (2) nor
more than three (3) members expire each year. The term of each member shall commence
on the first day of February, and shall expire on the thirty -first day of January of the fourth
successive year.

SECTION II
This Ordinance takes effect 30 days after the date it is adopted. Within 15 days after
this ordinance is adopted, the Town Clerk shall cause it to be published once in a
newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the Town.
This Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos on July 20, 1992, and adopted by the following vote as an Ordinance
of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular meeting of the Town Council on August 17, 1992.
