NORTH 40 SPECIFIC PLAN UPDATE
RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• A tree inventory has been completed by the Town's Consulting Arborist, Deborah Ellis.
Flyers have been distributed and posted on the Town's web -site for Community Workshop
#2. Flyers have been posted at coffee shops, athletic clubs, churches, schools, and businesses
with community posting locations (such as Whole Foods and Panera Bread). In addition,
flyers were emailed to the North 40 notification list, Youth Commission, Patch.com, and Los
Gatos Weekly Times. Distribution points for flyers are Town Hall and Library, Chamber of
Commerce, and Adult Recreation Center.
NEXT STEPS
Community Workshop #2 will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Calvary Church
from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A visual preference survey that will focus on building form and
style, public spaces, street standards, open space, etc., will be presented.
The North 40 Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday, May 19, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to
8:30 p.m. to debrief on the community workshop. BAE, the Town's Economic Consultant,
will be presenting preliminary findings on the market study that is in progress.
The North 40 Advisory Committee will meet on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, to
discuss development and design standards.
