FOR THE PU?,100SE OF THIS ORDIT-11ANCE <br />(a) The word 'fvehicle14 shall mean any device in, upon, or by <br />which any person or property is or may be transported upon a highway, ex- <br />cept a device which is operated upon rails or tracks <br />(b) The word "Personrt shall mean and include any individual, <br />firm, co-partnership, or corporation. <br />SECTION 2. The Town of Los Gatos is operating a parking lot <br />upon a portion of that certain real property located in the. Town of Los <br />Gatos, County of. Santa Clara, State of California, bound West by Victory <br />Lane, north by land of Blanchard., East by North Santa Cruz Avenue, and <br />South by land of Sunnymount Theatre which said portion is not set aside <br />for more restrictive use by persons other than the general public. <br />SECTION 3. It shall be unlawful and a violation of this <br />Ordinance for any person to cause, allow, permit, or suffer any vehicle <br />registered in his name or operated or controlled by him to be parked in <br />any parking stall upon said parking lot for a period of time longer than <br /> i <br />two (2) hours between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6 00 P.M., except <br />Sundays and Holidays <br />SECTION 4. The Chief of Police shall have lines of markings <br />painted or placed upon said parking lot for the.purpose of designating <br />the parking space for each vehicle, and said vehicle shall park within <br />the lines or markings so established. It shall be unlawful and a <br />violation of this Ordinance to park any vehicle across any such line or <br />marking or to park any vehicle in such a position that the same shall <br />not be entirely within the area so designated by such lines or markings. <br />it shall be unlawful a nd a violation of this Ordinance to park in or <br />obstruct the driveways or parking lanes reserved for travel of motor <br />
