ORDINANCE NO. 318 <br />AN ORDINANCE R ENDING ORDINANCE NO. 283 OF THE 1,110'14N OF LOS <br />GATOS E1NITITLED "AN ORDINANCE LICENSI TG TRANSACTION AND CARRY- <br />ING ON OF CERTAIN BUSINESSES, TRADES, PROFESSIONS, CALLINGS <br />AIM OCCUPATIONS IN THE TO' ,.'M OF LOS GATCS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />RAISING MUNICIPAL REVENUE AND PROVIDING A PENALITY FOR THE' <br />VIOLATION THEREOF". <br />The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does ordain <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. That Section 52 (a) of Ordinance No. 283 <br />entitled, "AN ORDINTANCE LICENSING TRANSACTION AND C.A,RRL PING ON OF <br />CEIRTAIN BUSINESSES, TRADES, PROFESSIONS, CALLINGS AND OCCUPATIONS <br />OF THE TO11N OF LOS GATOS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAISING I,,"UNICIPAL <br />REVENUE AND "PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF`I, <br />passed and adopted by the Town Council ol the Torun of Las Gatos <br />on the second day of June, 194-?' be, and the same is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />SECTION 52. TRUCK AND BUS TRANSPORTATION. <br />(a) Every person engaged in the business of delivering <br />or selling meats, fruits, vegetables, or any other foodstuffs, <br />or any ot':ler goods, zlTares or merchandise by means of or from <br />a vehicle, other than a peddler, and having no fixed place of <br />business in the Toi~►n of Los Gatos, shall Day a separate quar- <br />terly license tax of 86.25 for each such vehicle; provided, <br />hoi,,Tever, that this section shall not apply to any person who <br />delivers or sells by means or from a vehicle not more than <br />tin7o times in any one quarter. <br />Section 2.
