Through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process , <br />staff selected School Bus Consultants (SBC) to conduct the study . In October 2017 t he Town <br />Manager execute d an Agreement for Services with SBC to conduct the Feasibility Study for an <br />amount not to exceed $49,600. <br /> <br />On June 5, 2018 , the Town Council authorized staff to proceed with a school bus pilot program <br />targeting a January 2019 start date. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION : <br /> <br />T o implement the pilot service by the proposed date , staff need s to prepare a business plan for <br />Council review prior to the start date . The business plan will include evaluating service provider <br />options, evaluating staffing options for different functions, recommending best practices, <br />
