ON THE PREPARATION OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2018/19 OPERATING AND
CAPITAL BUDGETS
REMARKS:
After the distribution of the staff report, a Council Member requested that the staff report from
the Council’s March 7, 2017 consideration and approval of the Comprehensive Residential
Parking Plan (to address high school student parking in neighborhoods) be provided in a Desk
Item (see Attachment 4).
In addition, a Council Member asked a question (in bold) and the response is below:
Can all of the items listed as potential priorities (pages 1 and 2) be accomplished this
coming year? If not, what is the time frame?
The time frame for the items on pages 1 and 2 is two years (2018-2020 Strategic
Priorities). As mentioned in the report, many items are underway and some of them are
multi-year efforts.
