Dear Town of Los Gatos Council Members:
Thank you for your help in supporting our request for permit parking (similar setup as on Johnson
Ave.) along Loma Alta Ave. Just today I almost got hit by another speeding Los Gatos High School
student driving dangerously while trying to find a parking spot along our once tranquil street. Every
day we witness students running across the street (after parking) while looking down at their phones,
texting while driving, performing illegal U{urns to secure the last remaining spot on Loma Alta Ave.
Our guests, home service professionals, contractors, etc. have to park blocks away during school
hours.
Your help with this issue is greatly appreciated and I look forward to seeing you at the Town Council
meeting on 2l2Ol18 (my 48h birthday!) at 7 pm.

as part of the Finalized Strategic Priorities for 2018.
I am including a video of the parking issue that I hope can be shown at this Tuesdays meeting. This
video shows the lack of avialable parking for residents, workers, friends and family. There is also
increasing safety issues as students speed up and down the street.
I know there is a new school bus initiative in the works and lthink permitting on Loma Alta will only
help to get more parents to sign up. Our neighborhoods hope is that this new initiative does not
detract from adding permit parking on Loma Alta.
