SUBJECT: TOWN CODE AMENDMENT APPLICATION A-17-003. PROJECT LOCATION:
TOWN WIDE. APPLICANT: TOWN OF LOS GATOS.
CONSIDER AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 29 (ZONING REGULATIONS) OF
THE TOWN CODE REGARDING ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS.
REMARKS:
Ministerial edits that do not represent a substantive alteration of the draft Ordinance were
submitted by a Council member this afternoon. The draft Ordinance has been revised to
include the proposed edits and is included as Attachment 4. Language under “Permitted zones”
on page six of the draft Ordinance, referencing a minimum lot size of 5,000 square feet, which
was inadvertently not omitted per Council direction from a previous draft, has also been
omitted from the revised draft Ordinance. The proposed edits have been included in red,
double underlined or strikethrough font.
