ADOPT AN ORDINANCE REZONING A PROPERTY LOCATED AT 202
UNIVERSITY AVENUE FROM O:LHP (OFFICE WITH A LANDMARK AND
HISTORIC PRESERVATION OVERLAY) TO R-1D:LHP (SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DOWNTOWN WITH A LANDMARK AND HISTORIC
PRESERVATION OVERLAY). APN 529-04-001.
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt the attached Ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance effectuating a Zone Change from
O:LHP (Office with a Landmark and Historic Preservation Overlay) to R-1D:LHP (Single-family
Residential Downtown with a Landmark and Historic Preservation Overlay).
DISCUSSION:
On December 19, 2017, the Town Council considered and voted to approve a General Plan
Amendment to change the land use designation of property located at 202 University Avenue
from Office Professional to Medium Density Residential. The Council also considered and voted
to introduce an Ordinance effectuating a Zone Change from O:LHP (Office with a Landmark and
Historic Preservation Overlay) to R-1D:LHP (Single-family Residential Downtown with a
Landmark and Historic Preservation Overlay). Adoption of the attached Ordinance (Attachment
1) would finalize this decision.
