Summation/Rebuttal
• The appellants are not opposed to a home being built on this site.
• We just want the Town to uphold its own rules and follow state laws
• There are multiple grounds for this appeal; you only have to agree with one to
uphold the appeal.
• Why have stream and hillside regulations if you don’t want to enforce them when
they really count?
• Los Gatos is the way it is because of the foresight of the Councils and
Commissions that have come before you. Mistakes have been made with the
approval of a project in 2010, but now you have the opportunity to correct them.

The Word
The Town Council, Planning Commission, and Staff are the stewards of our
creeks and hillsides. The value of these resources is codified in the Town General
Plan, Hillside Development Standards and the Guidelines and Standards on Land
Use Near Streams. They are worth protecting; This is an important job. We are
counting on you.
