Santa Cruz What’s Next? Consider the Information Provided Authorize Adjustment of the Traffic Patterns Agreement Provide Direction for Pursuing Capital Projects Provide Direction for Additional Work this Summer Options 1.Make a determination/ finding that additional temporary closures are necessary in order to gather traffic data and public input in an effort to understand traffic impacts and ways to implement the Towns Transportation Element of the City’s Comprehensive General Plan. 2.Direct the Town Manger to work with Monte Sereno to close Ridgecrest. 3.Continue with the closure of Tait and Massol 4.Re -establish the weekend temporary partial closure of S. Santa Cruz Ave at Wood Rd. through September 5, 2016 (alternatively select weekends). 5.Authorize the Town Manager to negotiate and execute an amendment to the agreement with Statewide Traffic Services for traffic control increase the agreement amount by $45,000. 6.Direct the Town Manager to return to Council with a full budget and time estimate to secure approval(s) from Caltrans to achieve a coordinated ongoing closure on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
