Dear Council,
I have reviewed the two proposed designs and have also been part of the
Vice President

Stakeholder discussions. As a representative of NUMU 1 would like to express

my concern for the impact these designs will have on the Museum in terms of

be a place for young climbers during Music in the Park and other lively town

The current scale of either design will overshadow the physical space and
dominate the view of the museum from the street. If the wiggle walls are
Peggy Koren
allowed to become part of the project, they will create a massive design element

that is out of scale to the delicate mid - century, award winning architecture. We
are also concerned with how the overall designs fit into the current aesthetics of

the entire Plaza.

While both designs have their merit artistically, their scale and dominance will
create a design concern however and whenever we may use the Sculpture

It is our hope that the council finds the right scale and location for this very
