A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE THIRD
AND ALL SUBSEQUENT AMENDMENTS TO THE AGREEMENT WITH
SANTA CLARA COUNTY AND THE INCORPORATED CITIES TO PROVIDE
LOS GATOS LAW ENFORCEMENT WITH ACCESS TO THE
CALIFORNIA IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM, SUBJECT TO COUNCIL APPROVAL
OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET EACH FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, The Town wishes to continue participating in the California
Identification System with the County and each of the incorporated cities within Santa Clara
County; and
WHEREAS, The Town entered into the original agreement in 1988, which is on file
in the Town Clerk's office, and has amended the contract each year in accordance with the
provisions of the original contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos that the Town Manager is authorized to execute future amendments to the
Agreement to Provide Local Law Enforcement Agency Access to the California
Identification System to extend the term of the agreement for an acceptable financial
contribution, subject to Council approval of the Police Department Budget each fiscal year.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, held on the 17th day of June, 1991, by the following vote:
