RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A CHANGE OF ZONE
FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT TO PERMIT
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 64 UNIT MULTIPLE FAMILY DEVELOPMENT
AND DAY CARE CENTER FACILITY AT 634 WEST PARR AVENUE
(634 WEST PARR AVENUE - MIDPENINSULA HOUSING COALITION)
WHEREAS:
A. On June 10, 1991 the Town Council conducted a public hearing and
considered change of zone from O and R -1:8 to O -PD on approximately 3k acres of
property on the south side of West Parr Avenue, east of Dardanelli Lane to permit the
construction of a 64 unit multiple family development, day care facility, demolition of a
single family residence, relocating the rear property line and determining the projects
community benefit which justifies traffic impact.
NOW BE IT RESOLVED:
A. The Town Council hereby certifies that it has reviewed and considered the
information in the Initial Study (ND -91 -3) and Zone Change Application (Z -91 -2) and that
the Initial Study has been completed in compliance with the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and State and Town Guidelines.
B. The Town Council hereby finds on the basis of the Initial Study and
comments received that there is no substantial evidence that the project will have a
significant effect on the environment and that conditions of approval will be required as
part of the project which avoid or substantially lessen the minor environmental effects
identified in the Initial Study as set forth in the project's Mitigation Monitoring Plan.

C. The Town Council hereby approves the Negative Declaration and adopts the
Mitigation Monitoring Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference
herein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 24th day of June, 1991, by the following vote.
