RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING GERALD H. ARGALL (JERRY)
FOR 35 YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, Gerald H. Argall (Jerry) was hired by the Town on July 2, 1956; and
WHEREAS, since that time Jerry has served as a Maintenance Man I until July 1,
1965 at which time he was appointed to the position of Sweeper Operator; and
WHEREAS, Jerry has fulfilled the requirements of these positions faithfully and
well; and
WHEREAS, this dedication to the Town of Los Gatos for 35 years will culminate
with Jerry's retirement on July 26, 1991; and
WHEREAS, during his 35 years with the Town, he has made many friends in the
work place, and throughout the Town through his participation in the Public Works
Maintenance Division and service to the citizens of the Town of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such dedicated public service deserves
special recognition and commendation;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Council does hereby extend to Jerry
Argall its deepest appreciation for service faithfully and excellently rendered, and its sincere
hope that his retirement from the service of the Town of Los Gatos is one of satisfaction
and fulfillment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on July 1, 1991 by the following vote:
