RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
CONCERNING PAYMENT OF FEES FOR EARTHQUAKE REPAIR AND
RECONSTRUCTION RESTORATION OR DEMOLITION APPLICATIONS
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos to
modify Town policy which currently exempts fees for all Earthquake Demolition Committee
and Earthquake Restoration Committee applications and Building Permits, for earthquake
repair and seismic retrofit if an application had been filed with the Town by December 31,
1990.
RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does hereby adopt
the following:
Applications eligible for processing through the Earthquake Restoration
Program shall pay Building Permit fees and the $400.00 Development Review
Committee fee if appearance before the Earthquake Restoration Committee
is required except all applications for restoration or seismic retrofit of
buildings located within the Downtown Commercial Historic District are
exempt from the Development Review Committee and Building Permit fees.
Tenant improvements are not exempt.
