1991-162-Amending Management Performance And Compensation Plan For Fiscal Year 1991-92RESOLUTION 1991 -IQ RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE AND COMPENSATION PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 1991 -92 BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, that the Amendments to the Management and Compensation Plan for the Town for fiscal year 1991- 92 (a copy of which is attached hereto) are hereby approved. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 15th day of July, 1991 by the following vote: COUNCILMEMBERS: AYES: Randy Attaway, Joanne Benjamin, Steven Blanton, Eric D. Salary increase of 1.5% effective June 23, 1991. 2. $900.00 increase in the Level I, Level II and Level III Management Cafeteria Plan. 3. Convert to PERS Medical Plan effective August 1, 1991. 4. Unlimited sick leave accruals. Upon retirement from the Town, accrued sick leave can be applied towards time and service and retiree medical premiums, until such time that the Town provides for 100% of retiree benefit premiums. If leaving the Town but not retiring, the sick leave cash -out provisions are as follows: a) 1 -59 months of service 25.0% b) 59 -120 months of service 37.5% c) 121 months and beyong 50.0% Must have a balance of 150 hours in order to cash -out 5. In addition to the current life insurance coverage of $50,000 plus $50,000 AD &D, the Town will offer the opportunity to purchase additional term life insurance up to twice the employee's base salary, not to exceed $150,000. 6. The current $120.00 vision reimbursement to be extended to the employee's immediate family (spouse, unmarried children under 19 living at home, or under 23 and a full -time student). 7. Level II and Level III managers will have the following vacation accrual schedule: a) 0 -60 months 15 days per year b) 61 -120 months 20 days per year c) 121 -180 months 23 days per year d) 181 months and over 25 days per year 8. Employees who retire from the Town may convert 100% of their accumulated sick leave to the dollar equivalent of their hourly rate of pay. The Town will contribute to retiree medical coverage under the phase -in schedule mandated by PERS and the employee's sick -leave dollar account will be used to pay the remaining portion of the employee -only premium. 9. Reevaluation of the Management Performance Evaluation process and revision of the Management Performance and Compensation Plan by December 31, 1991. 10. Retitle Community Services Manager to Community Services Director and place position in Level I. 11. Add the position of Senior Librarian to Level IL FINTC;A:\AMKD- MGT.PLN
