RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING RENEE ROURKE
FOR 18 YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, Renee Rourke was hired by the Town of Los Gatos on May 24,
1973; and
WHEREAS, since that time Renee has served as the Secretary to the Chief
of Police for the past eighteen years; and
WHEREAS, Renee has fulfilled the requirements of this position faithfully
and well while serving three Police Chiefs; and
WHEREAS, this dedication to the Town of Los Gatos for 18 years will
culminate with Renee's retirement on August 16, 1991; and
WHEREAS, during her 18 years with the Town, she has made many friends
in the work place, and throughout the Town through her participation in the
Police Department and service to the citizens of the Town of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such dedicated public service
deserves special recognition and commendation;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Council does hereby extend
to Renee Rourke its deepest appreciation for service faithfully and excellently
rendered, and its sincere hope that her retirement from the service of the
Town of Los Gatos is one of satisfaction and fulfillment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos held on the 5th day of August, 1991 by the following vote:
