RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT WITH INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES, INC.
FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RENT MEDIATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, TOWN AND I &R executed an Agreement for provision
of landlord /tenant conflict resolution service on September 6,
1983; and
WHEREAS, TOWN AND I &R executed an amendment to the
Agreement for provision of landlord /tenant conflict resolution
service on February 16, 1988; and
WHEREAS, TOWN AND I &R executed an amendment to the
Agreement for provision of landlord /tenant conflict resolution
service on June 29, 1989; and
WHEREAS, TOWN AND I &R executed an amendment to the
Agreement for provision of landlord /tenant conflict resolution
service on June 30, 1990
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: authorize the Town Manager to
execute the amendment to the Agreement for provision of
landlord /tenant conflict resolution service, effective July 1,
1991, through June 30, 1992, attached as Exhibit A.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town
Council of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 3rd day
of September, 1991, by the following vote:

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
WITH INFORMATION & REFERRAL SERVICES, INC. 7r „/ D
FOR PROVISION OF LANDLORD /TENANT
CONFLICT RESOLUTION SERVICE
This AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into this 30th day of June, 1991,
and is effective as of the 1st day of July, 1991 by and between TOWN OF LOS
GATOS, a municipal corporation ( "TOWN ") and INFORMATION & REFERRAL SERVICES,
INC. ( "I&R").
WHEREAS, TOWN AND I&R executed an Agreement for provision of
landlord /tenant conflict resolution service on September 6, 1983; and
WHEREAS, TOWN AND I&R executed an amendment to the Agreement for provision
of landlord /tenant conflict resolution service on February 16, 1988;
WHEREAS, TOWN AND I&R executed an amendment to the Agreement for provision
of landlord /tenant conflict resolution service on June 29, 1989; and on June 30,
1990;
AGREEMENT:
IT IS THEREFORE AGREED by the parties as follows:
1. Exhibits A and B, be replaced by attached Exhibits A and
B.
2. Section III to read:
The terms of this Agreement shall be through June 30, 1992, from
the date of execution by the TOWN and INFORMATION & REFERRAL
SERVICES, INC.
3. The terms and conditions of the original Agreement,
except as herein amended, shall remain in full force and
effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Amendment to the
Agreement for provision of landlord /tenant conflict resolution service on the
date written above, effective July 1, 1991.
