RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING BILL HAYES
FOR 21 YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, Bill Hayes was hired by the Town on May 11, 1970; and
WHEREAS, since that time Bill has served the Town as a Park Caretaker I (May
1970), Park Maintenance Man II (August 1, (71), at which time he was appointed to the
position of Park Maintenance Worker II on July 1, 1976; and
well; and
WHEREAS, Bill has fulfilled the requirements of these positions faithfully and
WHEREAS, this dedication to the Town of Los Gatos for 21 years will culminate
with Bill's retirement on October 11, 1991; and
WHEREAS, during his 21 years with the Town, he has made many friends in the
work place, and throughout the Town through his participation in the Park Division and
service to the citizens of the Town of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such dedicated public service deserves
special recognition and commendation;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Council does hereby extend to
Bill Hayes its deepest appreciation for service faithfully and excellently rendered, and its
sincere hope that his retirement from the service of the Town of Los Gatos is one of
satisfaction and fulfillment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos held on September 16, 1991 by the following vote:
