RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING ELSBETH NEWFIELD
OF THE LOS GATOS PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
WHEREAS, Elsbeth Newfield has served as a member of the Library Board since
July, 1990; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Newfield brought to Board discussions an excellent knowledge of
the library gained through many years as an active library user; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Newfield also contributed her knowledge and skill as an architect
to the preliminary design process for a new library building; and
WHEREAS, the Town feels that such outstanding public service deserves special
recognition;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: that the Los Gatos Town Council does hereby
render, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to Elsbeth Newfield for
her service to the Town and its citizens as a board member of the Town's Library Board.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California on the 16th day of September, 1991, by the following vote:
