RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS CONSENTING TO
AND CALLING A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE CENTRAL LOS GATOS
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AND THE FINAL EIR RELATING THERETO
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Los Gatos (the "Agency "), by
Resolution No. 1991 -5RD on October 7, 1991, submitted to the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos (the 'Town Council ") a proposed Redevelopment Plan (the 'Redevelopment
Plan ") for the Central Los Gatos Redevelopment Project (the "Project ") and consented to and
requested that the Town Council call a joint public hearing of the Agency and the Town
Council to consider and act upon the proposed Redevelopment Plan, together with a joint
public hearing on the Final Environmental Impact Report relating thereto; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council acknowledges receipt of the proposed Redevelopment
Plan, along with the Report to the Town Council and the Final Environmental Impact
Report on the Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community Redevelopment Law Health
and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) authorizes a joint public hearing on the proposed
Redevelopment Plan with the consent of the Agency and the Town Council;
RESOLVED, as follows:
Section 1. The Town Council hereby consents to and, at the request of the Agency,
calls a joint public hearing of the Agency and the Town Council on Tuesday, November 12,
1991, at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers to consider and act upon the proposed
Redevelopment Plan and all documents and evidence pertaining thereto, together with a joint
public hearing on the Final Environmental Impact Report for the Project.
Section 2. The Town Clerk of the Town of Los Gatos shall, in cooperation with the
Secretary of the Agency, prepare, publish and mail such notices and documents and do all
other acts as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this resolution.
