RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ALLOCATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992 -93
WHEREAS,
A.
The Town of Los Gatos receives Community Development
Block Grant funds from the Department of Housing and
Urban Development through the County of Santa Clara
as a non - entitlement city pursuant to the provisions
of Title I of the Housing and Community Development
Acts of 1974 and 1977, as amended;
B.
The Community Services Commission has reviewed all
applications for funding from community agencies;
C.
A Public Hearing was held by the Town Council on
March 16, 1992.
D.
The Town of Los Gatos has appropriated funds for
allocation to various community groups and Town
operated programs which provide services to very low
and low income residents of the Town of Los Gatos;
and
E.
The Town has been notified the CDBG allocation for
FY 1992 -1993 is $172,417.
NOW,
THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
A.
The Town Council hereby finds that funds are
available from CDBG for FY 1992 -1993; and
B.
The Town Council hereby adopts the recommendation
of the Community Services Commission.
C.
The Town Council does hereby authorize the
expenditure of $172,417 to those CDBG programs set
out in Exhibit A.

Council of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 16th
day of March, 1992, by the following vote:
