RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS-
COMMENDING JOAN E. SCHREINER FOR HER SERVICE
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AS TOWN TREASURER
WHEREAS, the Town Council appointed Joan Schreiner on June 20, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Joan Schreiner ran and was elected to the Office of the Town
Treasurer on November 21, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Joan Schreiner agreed to serve in a time of critical need for quality
Treasurer services; and
WHEREAS, Joan Schreiner's skills as a professional financial manager assisted
the Town in developing a prudent investment policy; and
WHEREAS, Joan's hours of dedicated service assured the Town of wise and
timely investments resulting in thousands of dollars of additional revenue; and
WHEREAS, Joan Schreiner has developed a positive working relationship with
the Town Council and Town staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos hereby expresses its deep appreciation to Joan Schreiner for her contributions
to the Town during her tenure as Town Treasurer.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 16th day of November, 1992 by the following
vote:
