RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING KATHERINE ANDERTON
FOR SERVICE TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AS
TOWN ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, Katherine Anderton has served the Town of Los Gatos with great
distinction since June 1, 1991; and
WHEREAS, she has been invited to serve as a Chief Legislative Analyst for
California's First Congressional District to develop and analyze Federal legislation; and
WHEREAS, although Los Gatos will sorely miss her skill and dedication, her
service to government will be greatly multiplied; and
WHEREAS, Katherine Anderton has done an absolutely outstanding job during
her tenure, bringing to conclusion a number of difficult legal issues which have plagued the
Town for some time; and
WHEREAS, the Town will miss her absolute integrity, her relentless energy, her
irrepressible good humor, her formidable ability to bring people together, and her dazzling
legal skills.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos hereby expresses its deep appreciation to Katherine Anderton for her
contributions to the Town during her tenure as Town Attorney.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 7th day of December, 1991 by the following
vote:
