RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO FILE AN APPLICATION
WITH THE CALIFORNIA ENERGY COMMISSION FOR PARTICIPATION IN
ENERGY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 880 has provided funds to the California Energy Commission
(CEC) for energy support to local governments through the Energy Partnership Program;
and
WHEREAS, Town of Los Gatos qualifies to participate in the CEO's Energy
Partnership Program; and
WHEREAS, Town of Los Gatos recognizes that assistance will allow better use of
limited staff resources and expertise to deal with energy matters.
RESOLVED: that the governing board hereby authorizes and directs the Town
Manager to file an application with the California Energy Commission for participation in
its Energy Partnership Program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council held on the
17th day of May, 1993, by the following vote:
