A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL TO
THE OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY FOR A TRAFFIC SAFETY PROGRAM GRANT
WHEREAS, The Town of Los Gatos desires to undertake a certain project designated The Los
Gatos Police Mobile Radar Display Traffic Program to be funded in full from funds made
available through the Traffic Safety Program administered by the Office of Traffic Safety (hereafter
referred to as OTS).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos that
the Town Manager of the Town of Los Gatos is authorized, on its behalf, to submit the attached
proposal to OTS and is authorized to execute on behalf of the Town Council of The Town of Los
Gatos the Grant Award Agreement including any extensions or amendments thereof.
IT IS AGREED that any liability arising out of the performance of this Grant Award
Agreement, including civil court actions for damages, shall be the responsibility of the grant
recipient and the authorizing agency. The State of California and OTS disclaim responsibility for
any such liability.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be used to
supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
California, held on the 7th day of September, 1993, by the following vote:
