RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR
PROJECT 9324 LOS GATOS - ALMADEN ROAD AND
NATIONAL AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos to
carry out Project 9324 - Los Gatos - Almaden Road and National Avenue Traffic Signal
Installation; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Building and Engineering Services has presented Plans
and Specifications for Project 9324 - Los Gatos - Almaden Road and National Avenue
Traffic Signal Installation; and
WHEREAS, that these Plans and Specifications entitled "TOWN OF LOS GATOS
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS - PROJECT 9324 - LOS GATOS ALMADEN ROAD
AND NATIONAL AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION ", dated November 19th
1993, on file in the Office of the Town Clerk, are hereby approved; and
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise,
as required by law, for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the work
specified in the aforesaid Plans and Specifications, which said advertisement shall be
substantially in accordance with the Notice to Bidders attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council held on the
15th day of November, 1993, by the following vote:

AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION
at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
This following information is presented to indicate the size of the project and no warrant is made or
intended as to final quantities:
The work for Project 9324 - Los Gatos - Almaden Road & National Avenue Traffic Signal
Installation, includes the installation of a traffic signal controller, cabinet, poles, masts heads,
loop detectors, power service equipment enclosure, telecommunications, striping, and wheelchair
ramps (2), for a complete, operational newly signalized intersection.
A class "A" General Contractor's License or a Class "C -10" General Electrical Contractor's License
is required.
Information for bidders, plans, specifications and forms for bidding this project may be obtained
from Building and Engineering Services, 110 E. Main Street, Los Gatos, CA 95032, weekdays,
excluding holidays, between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon and between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Friday. A non - refundable fee of $25.00
Nill be charged per set.
