RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ENDORSING SCHOOL PARCEL TAX BALLOT ISSUE
WHEREAS, the Los Gatos Union School District has requested formal
endorsement of Measure C - Parcel Tax Renewal; and
WHEREAS, the parcel tax was originally passed in 1990 by 67% of the voters
in the district; and
WHEREAS, the parcel tax of $180 has allowed the District to provide numerous
services to students, to better maintain school facilities, and reduce average class size in the
district; and
WHEREAS, renewal of the parcel tax will continue to provide funds to
supplement declining State support.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos endorses Measure C which will be on the April 12, 1994 ballot.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 7th day of February, 1994 by the following vote:
