RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AMENDING CERTAIN FEES, RATES AND CHARGES
WHEREAS, the County of Santa Clara is no longer providing animal
control services to cities; and
WHEREAS, each of the West Valley Cities (Campbell, Cupertino, Los
Gatos, Monte Sereno, and Saratoga) has identified a need to provide animal - related
services within their communities; and
WHEREAS, the West Valley Cities have determined that it is in their
best interest to cooperate in the implementation and operation of an Animal Control
Services Program; and
WHEREAS, each of the West Valley Cities desire to enter into an
Agreement for the implementation and operation of the Animal Control Services
Program for the benefit of the citizens of their jurisdictions, and to participate in the
Program, and to declare their commitment to share financially in the Program, and
a final draft of that Agreement is now prepared for approval of the respective
Councils; and
WHEREAS, the fees, rates, and charges attached hereto as Exhibit A
reflect actual cost of animal control service.
RESOLVED, that certain imposed General Administration fees, rates
and charges be amended.
RESOLVED, that the amended fees, rates and charges become
effective on the effective date of Ordinance 1971.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution amends Resolution
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 22nd day of February, 1994 by the
following vote:
