RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
ALLOCATING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1994 -95
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos receives Community Development Block
Grant funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development through the County
of Santa Clara as a non - entitlement city pursuant to the provisions of Title I of the Housing
and Community Development Acts of 1974 and 1977, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the Community Services Commission has reviewed all
applications for funding from community agencies; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held by the Town Council on March 7,
1994; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos has appropriated funds for allocation to
various community groups and Town operated programs which provide services to very low
and low income residents of the Town of Los Gatos; and
WHEREAS, the Town has been notified the CDBG allocation for fiscal year
1994 -1995 is $190,000.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS
GATOS DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
A. The Town Council hereby finds that CDBG funds are available for fiscal year
1994 -1995; and
B. The Town Council hereby adopts the recommendation of the Community
Services Commission; and
C. The Town Council does hereby authorize the expenditure of $190,000 to those
CDBG programs set out in Exhibit A.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 7th day of March, 1994, by the following vote:
