A RESOLUTION COMMENDING SUSAN GRIMES
FOR HER SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, Susan Grimes served as a member of the Planning Commission since
November 7, 1983; and
WHEREAS, during this period she unselfishly contributed her time, energies and
capabilities to both the Commission and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service deserves
special recognition;
WHEREAS, she has given her time to advance the planning process within the Town;
and,
WHEREAS, during her tenure Susan assisted the Planning Commission in the
following major studies and projects:
a. Adoption of the 1985 General Plan
b. Trails Committee
c. Hillside Committee and major revision of the Hillside Specific Plan
d. Commission Policies and Procedures Committee
e. Zoning Ordinance amendments covering:
(1) Floor Area Ratio in Residential Zones
(2) Second story additions
(3) Traffic Policy revisions
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
DOES HEREBY RESOLVED, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation
to Susan Grimes for her service to the Town and its citizens as a member of the Planning
Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at a
regular meeting held this 21st day of March 1994, by the following vote:
