RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS OPPOSING
PROPOSITION 188 STATEWIDE SMOKING INITIATIVE
WHEREAS, The Town has established community standards for regulating smoking
in public places; and
WHEREAS, The Town is against any state legislation that preempts local authority
to regulate smoking in public buildings.
RESOLVED: The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos opposes Proposition 188.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council held on the 3rd
day of October 1994, by the following vote:
