RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
LEVYING THE AD VALOREM SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
IN OPEN SPACE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 3
WHEREAS, the Town Council intends to levy and collect assessments within Open
Space Maintenance District No. 3, (Tax Rate Area 3 -201) within the bounds of Tract 8280,
Vasona Hills Subdivision (now known as Vasona Heights) an area of land located in the Town of
Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara; and
WHEREAS, the Council formed Open Space Maintenance District No. 3 by Ordinance
1836, adopted August 6, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the trail and some of the improvements in Open Space Maintenance District
No. 3 are completed; and
WHEREAS, the Town maintains the trail and appurtenances along Los Gatos Creek in
the district and needs to recoup its costs.
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, pursuant to Section 50612
of the Government Code of the State of California, that:
The ad valorem special assessment needed for maintenance and incidental expenses
within Open Space Maintenance District No. 3 is twenty -five cents ($.25) per one hundred
dollars ($100) assessed valuation of taxable land and improvements.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos held on the 5 " day of June, 1995 by the following vote:
