RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING NEGATIVE DECLARATION
AND PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
PROJECT 9517 - LOS GATOS CREEK TRAIL BRIDGE
AT LARK AVENUE AND APPROVING PURCHASE OF BRIDGE.
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, to carry out Project 9517 - Los Gatos Creek Trail
Bridge at Lark Avenue; and
approved,
WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration (Attachment 2) has been prepared and
WHEREAS, the Director of Building and Engineering Services has presented
Specifications for Project 9517 - Los Gatos Creek Trail Bridge at Lark Avenue; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That Plans and Specifications - Project 9517 -
Los Gatos Creek Trail Bridge at Lark Avenue, dated April 1996, on file in the Office of the Town
Clerk, are hereby approved; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Director of Building and Engineering Services is
hereby authorized to purchase the prefabricated bridge required for the project.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
advertise, as required by law, for the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the work
specified in aforesaid Plans and Specifications, which said advertisement shall be substantially in
accordance with the Notice to Bidders, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 6th day of May, 1996 by the following vote:

Avenue Bridge, in the Town of Los Gatos. (Santa Clara County Assessor Parcel

approximately 120 feet north of the Lark Avenue Bridge and a connecting 250 foot extension cf he
existing east bank trail.

The Initial Study and Negative Declaration are available in the Planning Department of Town Hall at the accve
address for review.
The public comment period for this proposed Negative Declaration is 30 days from receipt of this notice and
will expire on April 8, 1998. Written comments should be submitted to the Planning DeparrtMent A public
hearing on this matter is tentatively scheduled for April 15 1996 at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Council Chambers
at 110 E. Main Street
