RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZE THE FUTURE ADVERTISEMENT FOR
PROJECT 9605 - BIANNUAL SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Town Council adopted as the budget for the Town of Los
Gatos for fiscal years 1996 -2001 the schedule entitled "A Capital Improvement Summary
1996 - 2001" Schedule of Source and Use of funds on June 3, 1996, and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, to carry out Project 9605 - Biannual Sidewalk
Reconstruction Program; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Building and Engineering Services has presented
Plans and Specifications for Project 9605 - Biannual Sidewalk Reconstruction Program; and
WHEREAS, that these Plans and Specifications entitled "TOWN OF LOS
GATOS PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS - PROJECT 9605 - BIANNUAL SIDEWALK
RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM ", on file in the Office of the Town Clerk, are hereby
approved; and
WHEREAS, the 50 -50 Share Program will voluntarily enhance sidewalk
replacement and provide citizen participation; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, as required by law, for the receipt of sealed bids or
proposals for the doing of the work specified in the aforesaid Plans and Specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 2nd day of December, .1996 by the following vote:
