RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH
MOTOROLA FOR THE PURCHASE OF COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT
WHEREAS, the Town wishes to purchase base station radios and console
equipment, repeaters and antennas to replace those in the Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Motorola has an agreement with the U. S. General Services Agency
and the County of Santa Clara that allows pricing offered to the agencies to be used by all
political subdivisions within the State of California, as authorized by Section 6500 of the
California Government Code; and,
WHEREAS, Motorola has offered the pricing to the Town of Los Gatos; and,
WHEREAS, the Town wishes to enter into an agreement with Motorola for the
purchase of base station radios and console equipment, repeaters and antennas
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos that the Town Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with Motorola for
the purchase of base station radios and console equipment, repeaters and antennas
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 20th day of April, 1998 by the following vote:
