RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
AUTHORIZING ADJUSTMENT TO 1998 -2003
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
ALLOWING KNOWLES DRIVE AND CAPRI DRIVE
TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION PROJECT
TO BEGIN IN 1997 -98 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the Town Council adopted as the budget for the Town of Los Gatos for
fiscal years 1998 -99 the schedule entitled "General Fund Savings Designated for
Infrastructure Projects 1998 - 2003" Schedule of Source and Use of Funds on May 3, 1998, and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has considered and reviewed increasing the Knowles
Drive and Capri Drive Traffic Signal Installation Project found in the 1998 -2003 Capital Improvement
Budget establishing a $20,000 expenditure budget from revised fund balance.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the community and traffic safety to accelerate
the installation of the signal.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council does approve the
recommended action.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 18th day of May, 1998 by the following vote.
