RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
APPROVING 24 HOUR PARKING
IN THE EDELEN AVENUE
PERMIT PARKING DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the development of Old Town will have parking impacts on the Edelen
Avenue Parking District, and
WHEREAS, the Old Town Environmental Impact Report identified expanded hours of
preferential parking as a mitigation measure, and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos to change
the time limits on Edelen Avenue from 6:30 P. M. - 2:00 A. M daily to 24 hour parking.
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos to protect
parking for local residents, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this time limited parking resolution is
hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California held on the 3rd day of August, 1998, by the following vote:

AYES: Randy Attaway, Joanne Benjamin, Steven Blanton, Jan Hutchins,
Mayor Linda Lubeck.
