1998-204 - Authorize the Town Manager to Apply for Neighborhood Center & Special Events Liability insurance coverageRESOLUTION 1998 - 204 RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO APPLY FOR NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER AND SPECIAL EVENTS LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE OFFERED BY ROBERT F. DRIVER CO. INC. WHEREAS, the Town desires to participate in the Special Events Liability Insurance Coverage provided through Robert F. Driver Co., Inc.; and, WHEREAS, the participation in the Special Events Liability Insurance Coverage is at no cost to the Town; and, WHEREAS, by participating in the Special Events Liability Insurance Coverage, it will enable groups and individuals using the Los Gatos Downtown Neighborhood Center or holding a special event in acquiring the required Town insurance coverage. RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, that the Town Manager is authorized to execute the application with Robert F. Driver Co., Inc. to provide Special Event Liability Coverage. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 21st day of December, 1998 by the following vote.
