RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
TOWN OF LOS GATOS
INVITING TALLINN, ESTONIA, TO BECOME A SISTER CITY
WHEREAS, the Town Council established a Sister City Committee by Resolution
1972-68, and extended its existence indefinitely by Resolution 1975-112; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council has decided to invite another city to become a Sister
City in addition to Zihuatanejo, Mexico, and Chung -Ho, Taiwan, Republic of China; and,
WHEREAS, recent political events in the Baltic States have created an opportunity
for cultural and informational exchange with the West:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Los Gatos invites
Tallinn, Estonia, to become its Sister City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California on the 7th of October, 1991, by the following vote:
