REMARKS:
After the initial staff report was distributed on October 15, 2015, staff received a request from Council
for the Adopted FY 2015/16 - 2019/20 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget.
The Adopted FY 2015/16 — 2019/20 CIP Budget is in the final stages of production, being
professionally printed and bound for distribution. Therefore, in response to this request, staff has printed
copies of the Adopted CIP Budget which is incorporated as Attachment 5 for Council review.
At the June 16, 2015 Town Council meeting, the Council gave direction to minimize discretionary
capital projects pending resolution of funding needs for the Almond Grove Street Repair and
Resurfacing project. Per Council direction, a hold was placed on new projects proposed in the 2015/16
Capital Budget and projects with significant funding additions in the 2015/16 budget, with some specific
exceptions. Exceptions include projects that provide for preservation of Town infrastructure, enhanced
life safety, or the creation of ongoing financial savings.
To reflect Council's direction within the Adopted CIP Budget, specific language has been added to each
project page indicating that funding for this project is being held pending resolution of funding needs for
the Almond Grove Street Reconstruction project. An example of this can be found on pages C -6 and
