SUBJECT: ADOPT AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TOWN CODE SECTION 18.60.010
AND SECTION 18.60.015 THAT WOULD REGULATE ELECTRONIC
SMOKING PRODUCTS AND ALL NICOTINE DELIVERY DEVICES IN THE
SAME WAY AS TRADITIONAL TOBACCO PRODUCTS WITHIN THE TOWN
OF LOS GATOS
RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt the attached ordinance amending Town Code Section 18.60.010 and Section 18.60.015 that
would regulate electronic smoking products and all nicotine delivery devices in the same way as
traditional tobacco products within the Town of Los Gatos.
DISCUSSION:
On May 5, 2015, the Town Council considered and voted to introduce an ordinance to amend Town
Code Section 18.60.010 and Section 18.60.015. If the Council adopts the ordinance (Attachment 1),
it would be effective on June 19, 2015
