Main Street Los Gatos, CA 95030 Dear Mayor Jensen, Town Council Members, Planning Commissioners and Staff: Thank you for the opportunity to provide comments on the 2015 -2023 Housing Element and share the views of the Los Gatos Union School District ( "District ") as to the impact on our already overcrowded schools. We respectively ask that this letter be submitted to the Town Council for information for the May 5, 2015 agenda packet. Since a significant portion of the residential growth anticipated in the Housing Element is located within the District's boundaries, the District believes that all school districts within the Town of Los Gatos should share the responsibility of providing educational services to the students residing within the Town limits to meet the Regional Housing Need Allocation. It is our sincere hope that the Town Council will keep the District's concerns in mind as you consider the impact of the Housing Element on our schools. Sincerely, c=am Diana G. Abbati, Ed.D.
