DISCUSSION: Staff found an omission to the motion and the following correction is recommended to fully capture the motion for Item 8 in the March 3, 2015 minutes, page 7: 8. Consider adopting a resolution establishing the Town of Los Gatos Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Commission and dissolving the Bicycle Advisory Committee by rescinding Resolution 2005 -39 MOTION: Motion by Mayor Marcia Jensen to 1) adopt a resolution establishing the Town of Los Gatos Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Commission (BPAC) and dissolving the Bicycle Advisory Committee by rescinding Resolution 2005 -39; 2) modify the resolution (Attachment 3 of staff report) to change paragraph 2a to three members will be appointed by Council and four members shall consist of a representative from the Youth Commission, the Transportation and Parking Commission, the Parks Commission, and the Safe Routes to School Committee; 3) revoking the appointment to the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) Bicycle an d Pedestrian Advisory Committee and opening the VTA Representative appointment to a new application appointment process to be appointed by the Council in conjunction with the appointment process for the newly PREPARED BY: SHELLEY NEIS �e 7 Clerk Administrator Reviewed by: Assistant Town Manager wn Attorney t J R Finance N:\CI.K\Minutm - Final\Town Council Reports & Desk Items \Town Council Report 3 -3 -15 Minutes Correction 5- 5- 15.doc PAGE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL SUBJECT: MODIFICATION TO THE MARCH 3, 2015 COUNCILTARKING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES APRIL 28, 2015 formed commission; 4) Commission appointments to be made yearly and the Council appointed members be appointed for a term of three years each; and 5) strike section 3.d.ii from the resolution. Seconded by Vice Mayor Barbara Spector. VOTE: Motion passed unanimously. If Council approves this item then the modification will be added to the approved minutes and posted online.
