A. DIRECTING STAFF TO PREPARE BID DOCUMENTS FOR BOTH
CONCRETE RECONSTRUCTION AND ASPHALT PAVEMENT
OVERLAY
B. AUTHORIZING STAFF TO INCREASE THE SCOPE OF NICHOLS
CONSULTING ENGINEERS (NCE) AGREEMENT BY $19,000 TO
ALLOW A PROJECT TO BE BID FOR BOTH CONCRETE
RECONSTRUCTION AND ASPHALT PAVEMENT OVERLAY
C. PROVIDING OTHER DESIGN DIRECTION
REMARKS:
After the Addendum was prepared for distribution, additional correspondence (Attachment 5)
was received and also the following questions from a Council Member:
1. The staff report had figures relating to Bachman. Do you also have estimates for Tait and
Broadway?
A - Attachment 6 provides cost estimates for all three streets in the first phase.
2. Also, what was used on Miles Avenue and when?
A - Miles Avenue received a cape seal in 2001.
At a Council Member request, historical information on Almond Grove is provided in
Attachment 7.
