RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS GATOS ACKNOWLEDGING EXE-
CUTION OF COOPERATION AGREEMENT AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT
THERETO PURSUANT TO TITLE I OF T14E
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF 1974.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos has pre-
viously approved execution of a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement
and Cooperation Agreement with the County of Santa. Clara in order
to qualify it as an Urban County under Title I of the Mousing and
Community Development Act of 1974; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to authorization granted by the Town Council,
the Mayor did execute said Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement- and
Cooperation Agreement on January 7, 1975 and
WHEREAS, HUD has made further requirements necessitating
Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement and Cooperation
Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos acknowledges execution, by the duly authorized Mayor,
of Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement and Cooperation Agreement with
the County of Santa Clara upon the date indicated above; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council approves the
Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement and Cooperation Agree-
ment with the County of Santa Clara; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute said Amendment to Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement and
Cooperation Agreement on behalf of the Town of Los Gatos.
