RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS
GATOS ADOPTING FEES FOR PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTERS 7, 10 AND 22 OF
THE CODE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS.
RESOLVED, the Building Official shall charge the following fees for permits
and inspections conducted under the provisions of Chapter 7, Building $ Mechanical,
Chapter 10, Electrical, and Chapter 22, Plumbing, of the Los Gatos Town Code:
1. GENERAL
a. Occupancy Inspection
The fee for inspection and report for
change of occupancy or occupancy in-
spection. $50.00
b. Plumbing, Electrical Mechanical
The fee for issuance of each plumbing
permit, electrical permit, and mechanical
permit shall be: $10.00
C. Inspections not otherwise listed
The fee for any inspection for which no
fee is otherwise prescribed herein shall be: $15.00
per hour per inspection, but in no event
shall the fee be less than $15.00
2. BUILDING CODE
The fee for each Building Permit shall be
based upon the following valuation of each
building or structure for which a permit is
issued:

$501.00 to $2,000.00 ...................... $10.00 for the first $500.00 plus $1.50
for each additional $100.00 or fraction
thereof, to and including $2,000.00.

for each additional thousand or fraction
thereof, to and including $25,000.00
$25,001.00 to $50,000.00 .................. $170.50 for the $25,000.00 plus $4.50 for

1. For equipment or appliances having more than

For trolley and plug -in type busways, each 100

lighting fixtures, motors and other appliances
that are connected to trolley and plug -in type
busways. No fee is required for portable tools.

For electrical apparatus, conduits and con-
ductors for which a permit is required but for
which no fee is herein set forth .................. $ 7.50
NOTE: This fee is not applicable when a fee is
paid for one or more services, outlets, fixtures,
appliances, power apparatus, busways, signs or
other equipment.

FURTHER RESOLVED, this Resolution is effective on September 1, 1978
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos held on the 17th day of July 1978, by
the following vote:
