RESOLUTION ORDERING THE VACATION OF EASEMENT
UNIVERSITY AVENUE AT VASONA BUSINESS PARK
On April 175 1978, the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 1978 -53
declaring its intention to order the vacation of a public easement for
sanitary sewers, storm drains and other utilities.
A public hearing was held on May 15, 1978, and all the persons
interested were given an opportunity to be heard.
The easement proposed to be vacated is within the area for which a
master plan has been adopted and the question of whether or not to
vacate the easement was submitted to the Planning Commission and acted
upon by it.
It is in the public interest so to do.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED as follows:
1. From all the evidence submitted, the easement described in the
resolution of intention and in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a
part hereof by this reference is unnecessary for present or prospective
public use.
2. The easement described in Exhibit A attached hereto is ordered
vacated.
3. Upon the making of this order, title to the land previously
subject to easement reverts to the owner of the land free from the
rights of the public in the manner set forth in Government Code Section
50444.
4. The Clerk shall have a certified copy of this resolution
recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara.
PASSED AND ADOPTED AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF LOS GATOS this 5th day of June , 1978, by the

All of Farley Road, East of University Avenue, being 40 feet
in width, as__ shown on that certain Record of Survey recorded
in Book 77 of Maps at page 28, Santa Clara County Records.
Excepting therefrom a strip of land 12.00 feet in width lying
East of and adjacent to the most easterly line of University
Avenue described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of University
Avenue and Farley Road; thence, along said centerline of Farley
Road South 790 00' 35" East, 42.53 feet to a point on the east-
erly line of University Avenue and the True Point of Beginning;
thence, North 30° 51' 00" East, 261.34 feet; thence, tangent,with
the last named course northeasterly on a curve having a .radius
of 20.00 feet through a central angle of 660 25' 23" an arc
distance of 23.19 feet; thence, South 300 51' 00" West, 275.33
J eet; thence, North 790 00' 35" West, 12.70 feet to the True
Point of Beginning.
Also excepting therefrom a strip of land 1.0 feet in width
lying East of and adjacent to the most easterly line of
lniversity Avenue described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection at the centerlines of University
.A.venue and Farley Road; thence, along said centerline of
University Avenue North 300 51' 00" East, 581.50 feet; thence,
South 59° 09' 00" East 40.00 feet to the True Point of Begin -
ning; thence, South 306 51' 00" West 220.66 feet; thence, tangent
-with the last named course southeasterly on a curve having a
radius of 20.00 feet through a central angle of 600 00' 16" an
arc distance of 20.95 feet; thence, North 300 51' 00" East,
241.57 feet; thence, North 780 53' 40" West, 10.62 feet to the
True Point of Beginning.
